Jira Server logs
Since the server app is deployed in your own Jira instance, we don’t have access to the application logs. In order to troubleshoot a potential issue, those logs can prove crucial so here is how to get them on Jira Server:
In Jira server, go to Settings > System > Logging and profiling
Under “Default Loggers”, click on “Configure logging level for another package”
Package name:
com.inprowiser.capacityTracker
Logging level: TRACE
Once the logger is configured, execute the steps on Jira that lead to the issue (could be some actions on the tracker page, some API calls, etc).
Once you tried to run a couple of times, go to Settings > System> Troubleshooting and support tools > Create support zip, and click on “Create zip”, then “Download zip”
We are only interested in the “application-logs” folder in this zip
